Good app but please introduce mute button

Ive been using this app for a few years now and find it very useful. However, the new "feature"- when the word is being pronounced by the app- should have a mute button or on and off button. Sometimes I am looking up the word late at night or in public places and the loud voice from this app immediately pronouncing the word disturbs people. I dont want to turn off the volume on my phone every time I am looking for a word using this app.
